Numbers Day
A lake full of willing fish, easy-to-use gear and lots of bites. Built to be the best day of bass fishing you've had.
Tournament-level bass guiding on Polk County's small lakes. Tell me what a great day looks like for you, whether that's lots of fish, one big one, or learning something new, and I'll plan the lake, the spots and the baits around it.
Your goal picks the lake, the spots and the baits. No two trips run the same.
Boat position, reading bites, bait rotation and forward-facing sonar, explained as we fish.
Quality rods, reels and fresh baits, laid out for your day before you step in the boat.
Polk County has more lakes than most people will fish in a lifetime. The big names get the boat traffic. The small lakes are where the bass see fewer lures, the docks and weed edges stay quiet, and a good afternoon can mean dozens of fish or the biggest bass of your life.
I've spent years fishing and logging these lakes, tournament days and scouting trips both. Every lake is sorted by what it does best and when. That library is how your trip gets built: the right lake for your goal, the season and that day's wind.
Lake names stay between us and the boat. That's part of why they're still good.
Loaded with healthy, willing bass. Best for beginners, kids and anyone who wants steady bites.
Fewer bites, real shots at 4 and 5 pound largemouth. Where PB Hunts happen.
Wind, fronts and season change which lake fires. With this many to pick from, there's always a good option close by.
Every trip includes rods, reels and baits for up to 2 anglers. Bring a valid Wisconsin fishing license, layers and something to eat.

Big-fish lakes and big-fish baits, moving between lakes if that's what it takes. Fewer bites, a real shot at a giant. Saturday full days available: $650 plus fuel.
We break down a lake the way a tournament day runs: where to start, how to set up on a spot, and when to move.
A class day: forward-facing sonar, mapping, glide baits, moving baits, finesse or skipping docks. Price depends on the technique. You leave with a one-page handout.
A few quick questions when you book: how much you've fished, your personal best, and what would make the day.
I pick the lake and the spots from my own scouting and lake maps, checked against the weather and wind for your date.
Trips run in the afternoon and evening, when the water's warmest in spring and fall and the evening bite kicks in during summer.
Before you head home, we go over what worked and why: the baits, the spots and the conditions, so you can put it to use on your own water.
Tournament bass angler based in Balsam Lake. I spend about three days a week on Polk County's small lakes, logging what the fish are doing so I'm never taking you out blind.
What the fish are doing, what they're eating, and the baits that are working, posted from the boat.
Trips start in 2027, with a limited number of days each week. When booking opens, a $150 deposit holds your date and goes toward the trip, and every angler signs a short online waiver. Here's how it will work:
Send me a message on Instagram with the trip you're after and roughly when you'd like to go. You'll hear from me first when the calendar opens.
